Oakwood Awarded Youth Sport Trust Gold Partner School Status
Following Youth Sport’s Trust recent visit, they were delighted to confirm that Oakwood has been awarded Gold YST Partner School status.
By achieving Partner School status Oakwood has demonstrated it’s commitment to maintaining and developing the highest quality outcomes for PE and sport in the school. This award is valid for the academic years 2011/12 and 2012/13.
Youth Sport Trust Partner Schools can demonstrate how they are delivering high quality school sport and improving the PE experience for every young person. Importantly, they are also using sport to raise achievement levels across the school.
