School Uniform

Dear Parent/Carer

Just to let you know that we are still on track for the Academy Conversion to take effect from 1st April 2012. From that date Oakwood High School will become Oakwood Academy an Art, Technology and Sports College. We feel strongly that this will ensure that we continue to deliver the highest quality of education to your child and the freedom that conversion will bring will enable us to look at further ways of meeting pupils needs. Nothing will change on a day to day basis for our parents, pupils and staff but we are looking to change the uniform slightly from the 1st September 2012. We will be asking pupils to design a new school badge which will go on the jumpers and blazers. We have notified our uniform provider and they are waiting for us to send them our new design. All other colours will stay the same as we want to minimise the disruption and cost to parents.

If you have any worries or questions please do not hesitate to contact school so we can hopefully put your mind at rest.
