At Oakwood High School we understand the enormous responsibility of preparing our pupils for their future lives. Our hope is that we can help children to become responsible citizens who will make a positive contribution to our ever changing society.
We are committed to life long learning and work very hard to encourage children to engage with and enjoy learning and new experiences. We do this alongside emphasising the need for children to be sensitive, caring, supportive and understanding of each others needs.
We are very fortunate to have an excellent school where staff, parents, pupils and the wider community share our aims. We are a happy and successful school who encourage the highest levels of achievement, both personal and academic.
The staff at Oakwood High School are dedicated to ensuring that we meet all aspects of a pupils’ development and by working in partnership we hope we can make this a very special, rewarding and memorable period in your child’s life.
